The JKU offers a wide range of services in the areas of teaching, research and start-up support in order to provide the best possible support for those interested in entrepreneurship, innovation enthusiasts and creative minds. Teaching programs promote entrepreneurial skills and an entrepreneurial mindset. Building on this, we integrate the Upper Austrian start-up network "hub, ert" into courses and start-up support to give students an insight into the start-up scene. In this way, we create a comprehensive offering, which is rounded off by our creative space for idea development, advice and networking. With our offerings in teaching and our additional services, we not only support young founders in the early stages, but also spin-offs at the JKU.
LIT Open Innovation Center
The coworking space in the LIT Open Innovation Center (LIT OICJKU LIT) on the campus of the Johannes Kepler University Linz brings together the expertise of science and business in one place. This creates a unique ecosystem that enables innovation through cooperation. Motivated founders will find the LIT OIC the ideal place to cooperate with JKU researchers and companies. Together with our partners, such as tech2b, they are supported from brainstorming to founding.
