The Vetmeduni Vienna Entrepreneurship Initiative was launched with the aim of effectively using the knowledge from Vetmeduni Vienna's core areas of teaching and research to fulfill its "third mission" - the implementation of innovations with a positive impact on individuals, communities, institutions and societies. Both technology transfer as a basis for translating research results into practice and the development of entrepreneurial skills among staff and students support innovation on a broad basis. The initiative informs, motivates and empowers students, researchers and employees to further develop the practical benefits of their innovative ideas and to work either independently or with industry partners to actively support and promote the translation of knowledge to serve society.
