Startup Salzburg

Startup Salzburg has been supporting innovative founders on their path to success since 2016. Four partners form a strong network for this purpose: Innovation Salzburg, Salzburg Chamber of Commerce, FHStartup Center and PLUS Career & Startup Center. The joint initiative is funded by the state of Salzburg.

Startup Salzburg supports the local startup scene with a diverse mix of innovation formats and its own services.

There are three sections for all those interested in founding a company who are looking for orientation and support:

CHECK are consultations in which ideas are analyzed.
The (pre-)start-up program SHAPE supports the development of a marketable business model and lasts around four months.
FACTORY is the in-house incubation program and prepares participating start-ups for market entry in around nine months.

These offers are supplemented by three entrepreneurship formats that round off the range of services offered by Startup Salzburg:

The further education program Entrepreneurship ABC offers practical knowledge about entrepreneurship on topics such as ideation & design thinking, business modelling or founding formalities and takes place monthly.
In the workshop formats, such as the Weekend, the founders "work" together on business concepts.
And the networking events focus on mutual exchange and feedback. These include the Demo Day or the founders' barbecue.

The FHStartup Center is available to all alumni, employees and students of the FH Salzburg who are interested in starting a business or founding a startup. The central component of the support offered is the individual support of people with business ideas and potential start-ups.
