Bridge between business and science
The Rudolf Sallinger Fund was initiated in 1979 by Rudolf Sallinger, the long-standing President of the Austrian Federal Economic Chamber, in order to strengthen and promote small and medium-sized enterprises. Since its inception, the Rudolf Sallinger Fund has honored over 400 young academics for their outstanding scientific achievements on issues relevant to SMEs and thus represents a bridge between business and science.
Support for innovative business ideas
In recent years, the Science & Business Award and the Future Founders Challenge have been awarded to early-stage commercialization ideas based on scientific achievements and business ideas from students.
